No Knead Crusty Bread

 If you love chewy , crunchy bread kind of like sour dough but without the time of sour dough this recipe is so good. 



No Knead Crusty Bread 

3 Cups all purpose flour

2-3 tsp kosher salt 

1/2 tsp yeast 

1 1/2 Cups lukewarm water

Use a Dutch oven to cook in. 


Directions 

In a large bowl stir together flour, salt, & yeast.

Add the water and mix until it is a ball of sticky dough. 

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let sit for 8-24 hours. Dough will bubble up and rise. 

An hour and a half before you want to eat the bread preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Place Dutch oven, uncovered, into the oven and heat up for 30 minutes. 

While Dutch oven preheats, turn the dough onto a well floured surface and with floured hands form the dough into a ball. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let rest. 

After the 30 minutes take the Dutch oven out of the oven. Put the dough on parchment paper and place in the Dutch oven. 

Bake for 30 minutes covered. Then remove cover and bake for 15 minutes more.
