Coconut Pecan Sauce

This recipe is one of those you can just eat by the spoonfuls. Of course you can add it to German Chocolate Cake. That’s what I ask for every birthday. I recommend doubling maybe tripling the sauce for the cake. A couple years ago I decided to make a cheesecake for my birthday and put this on top. Holy gosh! It was amazing. I also like to do easy ice cream dessert and just have toppings. I make this one and Grandma Jonesey’s fudge and have to have a scoop with each sauce. 
Coconut Pecan Sauce (German Chocolate Frosting)
1 can sweetened condensed milk 
2 eggs beaten 
1/4 C. butter (recipes says margarine- I never use margarine)
1/2 C. flaked coconut
1/2 C. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla extract 

Add sweetened condensed milk, eggs, and butter into a small pot. Allow all the butter to melt and bring to a boil. Turn off and add in coconut, pecans, and vanilla.
